Song of the blog: Rain_Mika
So of course I am not really listening to that song. Because once gain I am proctoring. Sitting in a silent testing room. Bah.
But I loooooove this song! And Mika, dear Mika, won't you be straight and marry me? Hahaha
So about life. I love it. Life is gooood. Life GRAND! I love being alive in the world. :D
It all started when I came to this college. That was the best decision I have made so far in my short 19 year long life. And coming early landed me this job. And landing me this job landed me money. And landing this job landed me here. Where I am sitting. In a silent proctoring room. But there is hot guy in here too. And since I will never gain talk about him, lets name him Phil. Phil in the gray and black striped shirt, and the black shorts. Phil who looked me in the eye and said, "Can I use that pencil?" Phil who I shall never see again, nor will I ever think of him again. Ah Phil. :) Phil is taking an English Test. I just looked at his paper. This is a high school course!!! Oh Phil how you tricked me. You are a youngen. I remember being a youngen. (I'm still a youngen. :P) I remember walking into the high school my freshman year and thinking, life starts now! Hahaha How naive I was then. Naive little Phil. hahahahahaha You probably think your mission is so far away that it's in the future. Well Phil, that's not so. It will be a blink of an eye and then you'll be graduating high school. Or maybe just getting your transcripts because you are in Independent Study. And you will be thinking, "Huh. Life starts now!" And then you will be in my cute little black flats. (Not literally.) And then someday you will go on your mission and you will think, "Life starts now!" But you'll be wrong. And then you will go home and go back to college and get a job and you will think, "Life starts now?" And you will know then that the answer is no. And then you will meet a girl. Real pretty too. And you'll date her for a while, and propose, and get married, and you will think again with more surity, "Life really does start now!" And you will live. And it won't be for years that you realize that the answer is still no. You were living that whole time. The answer to that question was yes when you were born. Life is always.
I am living right now. I love living. I love the saying that we should live every day like it's our last. Because every day really could be the last day. I could wake up dead tomorrow. And so I try to ask myself every day, "Is it today? Would I be happy with my life if I die today?" My answer today is.... Yes. And some days it is yes. Today I would be happy because I have lived to the fullest up to today. There are things still unsaid, mountains still unclimbed, but I am happy with what I have done so far. Not that I want to die. I certainly don't! I want to climb these mountains! But if today was my last day, then I wouldn't be running around trying to repent and tell people I love them. I still would say it, but they know.
Anyway, life update. I have a kind of date on friday. I wish people could just say, "We're going on a date." Instead of this, "Well we're going to a concert and he's picking me up, so it's basically a date." Because that is what am doing. hahaha He's cool though. And he's a genius in my book. He's 18 and he has been here at BYU for 2 years now. Carazy. He's a math major, and he wants to be teach at the university level. So he's like me, just math instead of literature. He's in my Music 101 class ironically enough.

So this blog was started a while ago. Just want to say that I still can't really figure out if it was a date or not. Blah. Not that it matters. hahahahaha
He bought me ice cream. He is a very cool guy.
Great smile. :)
